Recovering(s) (this entry contains explicit language)

So... The whole of yesterday I was trying to set my Mac like it was before it crashed; putting some music to iTunes, setting the graphics to my liking... I found some really cool new background images had popped up with the updated Leopard (the "Windows" of Mac) I also installed and updated new versions of iTunes and some other basic Mac programs.

Well, it was hells bells for me for trying to install Photoshop back !
On Adobe's site you have this neat thing called Your Account where you can see your previous purchases and download those again if you need to. How cool, eh?
Well, it is not cool if the downloading of the file takes more than 8 hours! 8 EFFING HOURS? Thats ridiculous (like I already told you yesterday!)
Well, the trouble didn't end there. The downloading suddenly stopped at 27% (nearly two hours down) and I couldn't get it to restart anymore ! Argh the annoyance ! Well, I decided to take a deep breathe, count to 10 and start the download again.
This time it went faster, and I was like "fuck, yeah, now we're talking!" - well, the bitches over Adobe must've heard one of their customer being too happy cause the minute I said it the download speed started dropping.

"Hells no!" I said, and went to do a speed test at Speedtest.net and my download speed was 17000 kb/s and upload nearly a thousand.
So the problem wasn't my connection, it was all adobe shiz!

For a while I was like: ok, I'll just send them e-mail and see what they say. Well, hell no! There's literally no way of contacting them, only through a phone at 10am to 17pm local time and it's one of those numbers which will add four zeros to your phone-bill. So no thank you.

Well, I decided to download the file using hubby's laptop, and luckily that went a little better.
Then, 4,9 hours later the file was complete! Oh the celebration!
I transferred it onto my dear Mac and begun installing.

ERROR, ERROR!
INCOMPATIBLE PAYLOADS ALREADY INSTALLED, SEE THE SETUP LOG FILE

......At this time, the day was nearing it's end and it was already ten minutes to midnight and I was pulling my hair off and swearing like a pirate and swore revenge and "I'll call my lawyers you stoopid prick! yarr!"
Well, since there was no way of contacting them at Adobe, (not even at the very unreasonable price..) I had to turn to the wonderful world of the interwebs. Well, luckily it's as amazing as they say. Since I found my answer in no time and got my software installed finally.
But get this, I started at 10 am, and finished around 1am the next day. What's wrong with this picture?!

Well, since I got my photoshop up and running I decided to freshen up my blog (once again) a bit.
And the result is, as you can see, quite plain, but I like it that way.

Oh, ALSO, removed the followers and follow button from my blog cause they've changed the widget and it looks ridiculously butt-ugly.

And oh yeah, I'm recovering from my sickness quite well. Still a bit stuffy and runny nose, sore throat etc. But I'll be going to work tomorrow I think.

And for the lack of imagination I'll be posting yet another Natalie Imbruglia piece.
