My kind of Xmas

Firstly, I hate the type of persons who write Xmas, it's Christmas. But more than that I hate my long blog titles.

This Christmas was really nice over-all.

There was snow, it was a bit chilly but not too much. And I was in the Christmas-spirit early on.

On Sunday we had a little pre-christmas with my friends and we cooked and baked and watched movies.

I skipped the movies, since I fell asleep on

 the bed cause I had been in nightshift the night before (no surprise there)

 Anyhow, it was really nice.

We made chocolates and then ate it. Haha.

To be honest, I'm a little bored of chocolate already cause I've been eating it like 24/7.

Hubby and me drove to my parents' on Tuesday evening and it was really nice cause mum always puts the house full of her homemad

e decorations whihc always make me feel really festive.

It was just like when I was a kid. I went to bed early and got up really early.

On Wednesday we went to see my cous

ins with my dad and took some pressies to the little ones.

My aunt got a dog a while ago and she was just adorable. I've never been a fan of pugs, but Bella was just adorable. I think she liked me too and I'm foreseeing a real puppy-fever coming on.

Hehe.

Well, we've sorta talked about getting a dog anyway... I just have to convince hubby that it's a good idea and that he wont be the only one taking it out xP

When we got back mum and I started setti

ng up the table and I put on the sauna aswell.

Dad was at the neighbours dressed up as santa and he looked ridiculously funny. Unfortunately we didn't get any pictures. Oh well, there's always next year.

We started eating around 8pm. And as usual, mums cookings were to die for... Lots of cheeses, fresh holiday bread, smoked sammon, meatpockets, salt crackers, meatballs, ham, karelia pies, carrot-, potato- and neep-caseroles... I LOVE carrot caserole btw...  and loads of other stuff. 

After we ate it was time for the pressies. Teehee. My fave when I was a kid. Now I was just happy to be there and see how happy everyone was when they got my pressies for them... or atleast I hope they were happy.

I got an apron from mom and dad :D (It's a Jamie Oliver that says "I'm cooking, you do the dishes!" - suites me incredibly

 well xD

I also got the Nightmare Before Christmas SE Bluray and Trip To The Center Of the Earth dvd with 3D goggles, which I wore all day today. I look so stupid with them on. 8Post a pic later, maybe?)

Also, loads of chocolate and sweets (naturally).

No clothes or books... I was a b

it disappointed tbh. I really need a good book now.

I also got a bit money. Which I think I'll spend in IKEA in January.

The best gift of the night was the Wii Fit I got for hubby though. I'm SO SO SO glad I bought it for him.

It's so funny xP And atm it seems I'm more fit than he is. My balance sucks though.

I've set myself a goal to lose 5 kilos in the next 2 months... and I think I've started getting my BMI to 21 pretty well.. My abs are hurting from all the super-holahooling I've done today. Hehe.

Anyhow. It was really nice and I'm sort of sad it had to end already.

Well, a few more holidays ahead and a load of christmas food to chump to my tummy.
