Album review: Circus

Womanizer:
Gets better with every time you listen to it. At first I wasn't really sure and I was like: Gimme More was so much better than this is! But now I've listened to it like a million times, and when I compare the two Womanizer is definately the winner. Very good choice for a single.
8/10

Circus:
Love this track ! I wasn't really sure about the little clips I heard, since it was the intro only. But when the song kicks in it's fire! I love the quirky sounds and the sound-scheme in general on this song. I think Brit sounds a tad bit too computerized at times.
This is just the kind of song I'll be listeing to while prancing down the streets of the center and kicking all the little bitches outta my fat-bum' way.
8/10

Out From Under:
Oh loveyy!
But hey! Isn't this Someday (I Will Understand)? The production is like 80% same at the Chorus. Well, forgiven!
Love this track! I always love these heartbreak ballads when Britney does them. Certainly Everytime #2, which is a good thing. I hope she releases this as the last single.
Love the second verse.
8+/10

Kill The Lights:
Definate single material, just hope they drop the stoopilicious Danja-part from the start.
I love the lyrics of this song, and it makes me want to dance and kick some bitch-bum (do I have anger-management issues? No-hooo... I have gay-issues). The "iiiiii killeeeeeeehddddd da lights!" part is for some odd reason really great xD
One of my (many) favourites on this album, and from Britney ever.
9/10

Shattered Glass:
Starts off as my would-be-soon-to-be favourite Britney song, I was in Britney-Heaven literally cause the electronic wibe and the lyrics and just about everything were just there to take this song to places... Then the song continues on and you're kinda waiting for that great exploding third verse which makes your eardrums explode... But the song ends up being as short as 2 Hearts, and as dull.
I don't know how or why they had to mess up this song. It's like, nice, but doesn't seem quite finished. Shame.
5/10

If U Seek Amy:
My boyfriend is totally crazy for this song, he's always singing this. And we've started laughing like: "Hahha hehhe hahha HO!" everytime there's something funny on the tv or something. It sounds really scary sometimes, haha.
I love how this song has some of that southern-accent flavour Brit speaks in. This is not the only song, but somehow you can hear it through. Maybe it's just me.
La la la la la.....
9/10

Unusual You:
My other top-favourite on the album.
The lyrics, the music, Britneys computerized vocals... everything clicks together like a puzzle on this song. I so hope that this gets a release cause I can just imagine how great remixes this song would produce.
This is no doubt the best song on the album and one of best Britney has done ever. At first I compared this to Kylie's The One, but that doesn't really do justice to this song.
10/10

Blur:
Hmm.
I feel like this song is a bit displaced on the album, and the song suffers damage from that one thing. I kinda like this song, but it's shadowed by two much better tracks.
It's quite forgettable also. It's like you're thinking about the songs on the album and you can't remember that one songs name... Amnesia? Umm... No.... Amnesia 2?
6+/10

Mmm Papi:
Mmm papa love you!
I love how fresh this sounds for some reason.
I keep thinking Britney dancing in some retro clothes, with really tacky and clumsy camera movements and angles and really tackily dressed Harajuku-girls dancing around her.
I could see Gwen doing this song, but I think Britney does a great job and it's not too Gwen -ish.
7/10

Mannequin:
This is like a smile on a botoxed face... henche the name Mannequin I guess.
The worst song on the album. The production isn't really good and the odd sounds and athmosphere that they're trying to create is so totally wrong for some reason.
The song is also boring. Zz... Zz Zz... SKIPPED !
2/10

Lace & Leather:
This song reminds me of the Britney-era for some reason.
I love the guitar-riff! The song is different from the other songs in a really good way. Always makes me want to get my freak on and whip that whip from the back of my closet a little (what?).
A bit Circus #2 with all the whips whipping and my-show stuff, but I like it.
Someone said it sounded a bit dated, and I have to say I don't mind.
8/10

My Baby:
NOOO! Don't make me fall aslee...... Zz... Zz...
BOOOOORING ! Britney, honey, darling, we dont wanna hear about your stoopid kids or how you "survived only because of them" Bla bla.
I know this might be a personal song to her.. But who wants to listen to a song about stoopid babies? ...not me. Boring mommys maybe.
I hate the "My baby boo" part so much ! Eugh.
We have one song of your precious kids already (Someday) so lets just scrap this, mmkay? *deletes from iPod*
1/10

Radar:
Oh did I put Blackout on accidentally? ..Um, no? Why is this playing? *press skip*
Okay, it was a decent track way back when the earth was flat like a pancake and Madonna wasn't an old geezer.
So like a thousand years ago.
1/1000

Rock Me In:
Bonus track. No kidding.
Sounds like an Eurovision. Britney, you want to participate? You could be the Belarusian entry!
3/10

Phonography:
Pure eargasm! This song is so tacky with the strange Havaii-theme on the background and the phone-lyrics.
The lyrics are so stoopid that I have to love it. It's quite smart for such a doofus song.
This is my favourite from the album. And I SO don't get why this was only a bonus-track! Hell, this should be a single ! Though I bet Britney-fans mommas wouldn't like their little girls or gay sons listening to a song about phone-smex.
This makes me wanna get all dirty with my old cellphone.
Got *69 for that, for that, for that...
Uh!
9999/10

Quicksand:
What a let down from Ms. Germanotta. This is like Brown Eyes or Again Again from The Fame. So boring. And you can clearly hear that it's GaGa singing more than BritBrit.
4/10

Trouble:
For some reason, on some albums and iTunes downloads it seems Trouble has been replaced with another Womanizer.
Well, luckily I got the actual song. Luckily? Oh no. The song is still on Demo-stage, obviously. And the name spells so much more than the actual song delivers.
It's kinds boring and forgettable.
Might be a grower?!
5/10

In my opinion, 8++/10! She's absolutely pop-queen. And she'll rise like a phoenix from the ashes again and again, like when her haircut was bonze. But not perfect, I think. I wanna her back to the time singing "Toxic". It's my favorite tune!
